Display Features
Four viewing modes are implemented:
- Monoscopic view
- Side-by-side stereoscopic view
- Full screen (interlaced) stereoscopic view (vertical resolution reduced by two)
- Stereo in a window (high quality, resolution reduced by 1.3)
Various geometric data can be displayed:
- Bonds, angles, dihedrals in continuously updated mode
- Ramachandran plots for peptides and proteins.
In Moloc elaborate representations have never
been first priority. Nevertheless, in the course of years a few
advanced representation options have been implemented:
- Ball and stick representation
- Ribbon or pipe representations of C-alpha structures or DNA
- Various coloring possibilities
- Surface representations
- Lee-Richards and Connolly-type
- Coloring: uniform, atom specific, potential or field specific
- Dot, normal, mesh, and solid representations
- Transparent appearance
- Bragg reflection planes in crystals
